Centium Software continues to work with top-rated higher education institutions by providing quality software for course curriculum used to teach event management students who want to graduate and be competitive.
Kathy Herd from TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute says, “We have been working with the team at Centium for many years and now, EventsAIR® has just the functionality to take our students to the next level when competing out in the industry.” She adds “Not only is the functionality of the product impressive, intuitive and comprehensive but EventsAIR actually supports students in becoming truly productive event mangers. With this software, they are able to take the practical application of what they are learning in the classroom and quickly use the online tools provided to create an event with all of the travel, registration, mobile apps and social media that they will see when organising events day to day.”
Historically, Rising Star has been the educational program for aspiring event and meeting planners provided to universities and colleges around the globe since 2006, based on the award winning EventsPro software. Now, students have undertaken in depth training covering all aspects of EventsAIR, the next generation of event management software from the professionals at Centium Software.
“Students pursuing qualifications in hospitality or event management will also acquire certification in EventsAIR, which will prove to be an extremely valuable addition to a student’s resume. The first qualified students will graduate in November 2014,” said Trevor Gardiner CEO, Centium Software.
In 2015, five students will be awarded Rising Star Scholarships for participating in the Rising Star program. Many past scholarship recipients, along with other Rising Star students are now successfully working in the events industry as meeting planners and conference organisers.
