The EventsAir team has launched the Fast Track training program at the global meeting industry’s premier event, IMEX in Frankfurt on May 21st 2019.

Resulting from strong industry demand from PCOs, associations and corporate event organizers, EventsAir has introduced the most comprehensive learning platform ever published for the meetings industry.

Aptly named “Fast Track,” the education platform from EventsAir is designed to rapidly educate and certify meeting planners in the latest event management tools and technology.

The learning content includes education on cyber security, PCI compliance, data privacy, data quality control as well as an end to end use of technology to manage a meeting.

“Our clients tell us that as their business grows, and they onboard new staff, they want a fast and consistent way to train staff. We took this challenge on board and our team created an extremely comprehensive curriculum and online training platform” says EventsAir CEO Trevor Gardiner.

The Fast Track training platform is made up of three stages. The first stage is designed to get new team members up to speed quickly with event technology and best practices. Across nine topics, staff can view videos and complete exercises in a sandbox event, pre-built with real world sample data.

At the end of Stage 1, students can complete a detailed exam and receive their Meeting Planner Certification.

Stage 2 consists of the most comprehensive library of online training topics in the industry. Detailed training includes abstract management, onsite registration, building event websites, gamification, building attendee apps, advanced accommodation, group management and much more.

A first in the industry, the Fast Track Program includes a Train the Trainer certification that enables internal trainers within event management organizations to get the skills, resources and accreditation to deliver the comprehensive training program internally.

“Our goal is to empower our customers, and the Training Certification component of Fast Track provides an excellent structure to assist our customers onboard their own staff,” said Mr. Gardiner. “We have gone beyond technology and have included content like the importance of data quality, planning in relation to the use of technology and various security issues all highly relevant to the meetings industry.”
