Welcome to another installment of AirWaves, our exclusive bi-monthly webinar where we dive into all things EventsAir, keeping you connected and informed.

Company Update – Chris Ridd, CEO

June has been a busy month for EventsAir, as we not only attended but also powered two pivotal industry events: Evolve 2024 and MEETINGS 2024.

The highlight was the 2023 MEA National Awards ceremony taking place in the Hunter Valley alongside Evolve. It was a proud moment for the EventsAir team and our esteemed customers, including Wise Connections, The University of Queensland, ICMS Australasia, and Forum Group Events & Marketing, who all received awards for their exceptional work.

We were also thrilled to be honored with the “Event Technology of the Year” award – a testament to our dedication to excellence to event tech – a big thank you to MEA and the entire event industry for this honor.

AirTime 2024 – Bigger and Better

AirTime 2024 is officially here! We’re excited to announce that AirTime 2024 will be reaching new heights by expanding to four locations worldwide: Los Angeles, Washington DC, Amsterdam, and Brisbane. This expansion is a direct response to the valuable feedback from our North American customers.

This year, we’re enhancing the AirTime experience to ensure every participant gains practical insights to immediately impact their business. With new dual-stream Masterclasses and Power Streams tailored for varying expertise levels, there’s something for everyone.

We’ve also made attending in-person more accessible than ever with significantly reduced ticket prices. But, with registrations increasing incrementally, you will need to book early to secure the best price.

Our virtual audience will also benefit from a brand new polished, streamlined format. Providing a mix of interactive and on-demand content to provide the best online experience.

    Technology Update – Mehdi Khalili

Our commitment to robust, reliable, and efficient service delivery has never been stronger, as evidenced by the completion of our Azure Migration project. This year-long endeavor has significantly enhanced our platform architecture and we’re already seeing the following benefits:

    1. Improved security – allows us to detect and protect against an even larger number of security threats
    1. Performance efficiency – the new architecture increases and decreases the scale to cater for the demands on the platform very efficiently
    1. Operational excellence – better monitoring and observability to easily troubleshoot
    1. Reliability – uplifts the availability, resiliency and reliability of the platform

    Product Update – James Flynn

    Attendee App

This year we are investing heavily in improving the experience for your attendees, with the Attendee App a key area of focus. Our strategic approach ensures we can deliver a variety of solutions to our customers, including the integration of a third-party solution.

We are pleased to announce that our integration with Entegy has now been successfully road-tested by a very large Association customer. Entegy is a reliable, market-leading app with close feature parity to the current EventsAir Attendee App.

    API

Our API is going from strength to strength! Over the last few weeks, we’ve had several deployments of new features in the API, including the introduction of membership and contact stores, marketing tags, notes, file uploads, email communications, inventory, attendance, and webhooks.

To meet the diverse needs of our customers, including those with complex integration needs, we have developed our new enterprise API product. If you’re looking for complex multi-application integration, access to near real-time updates with webhooks, and advanced access to the API, please reach out to your Account Manager today.
