    Centium Software is proud to announce that we have been chosen to be the Official Accommodation and Transfers Software Supplier for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games ™ (GC2018).

    We have extensive experience in these types of events – we were involved in software delivery for arrivals, departures and protocol at the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games, are arel looking forward to providing software support, accommodation and transfers to and from official points of entry.

    We will provide an interactive and flexible reservation system to GOLDOC which will involve the management of detailed accommodation property information and online bookings and payment.

    Commonwealth Games Minister Stirling Hinchliffe welcomed the sponsorship announcement.

    “Centium has a wealth of experience working on the delivery of software for major sporting events and they have been involved in the last three Commonwealth Games,” Mr Hinchliffe said.

    “I am confident they will draw on this experience, honed across so many previous Games and world events, to help Queensland successfully deliver the country’s biggest multi-sport spectacular this decade.

    “The Queensland company has a strong reputation for successfully partnering with Games
    organisers to provide software solutions for some of the world’s biggest sporting events
    including the 2012 London Olympic Games and 2010 Commonwealth Games.”

    Centium Software CEO, Trevor Gardiner said the entire team was thrilled to be a sponsor of  the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

    Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) Chairman Nigel Chamier AM said Games organisers are buoyed by the early interest and confidence shown by the commercial sector.

    “GC2018 represents an enormous opportunity for corporate Australia to align product and services with a world renowned brand,” Mr Chamier said.

    “For Centium Software, it is a chance to once again show the world what amazing products this home grown Queensland business is capable of delivering.

    “This partnership also provides Centium Software staff with an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of the biggest event that may ever occur in their home state.

    “And to be announcing the company as an Official Supplier of GC2018 just days short of our Two Years to Go celebrations on Monday 4 April is an indicator that our commercial program is very well supported and well and truly on track,” he said.
