APCO and Centium Software announced last week that they will be joining forces with IAPCO as their 2015 Technology Partner.
According to Trevor Gardiner, CEO of Centium Software, the partnership will focus on education and exposure to cutting-edge and new approaches to meetings technology, systems and analytics.
IAPCO is a global organization with members in more than 40 countries around the world. IAPCO members represent hundreds of organizations working on professional events and conferences in numerous countries and venues.
Alec Sonenthal, Manager of Strategic Business Development for Centium Software, said that the ability to share knowledge, technology and skills with industry leaders around the globe was one of the main reasons to join forces with IAPCO. “The global meetings industry thrives on education and technical advancement,” he said in a statement.
The announcement was made at EIBTM, the Global Meetings & Events Expo, which Sarah Storie-Pugh, IAPCO’s Executive Director, said was an ideal event to launch the new initiative. “Their Knowledge Programme and Innovation Zone encourage advancements in education and technology” she noted.
