EventsAir has announced the appointment of experienced business leader Nick Thornton as Chief Revenue Officer. He is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all revenue-generating activities across EventsAir’s global operations to drive business growth.

Nick has extensive experience in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry. He is joining EventsAir after nearly 10 years at Daxko, a technology partner to the health and wellness industry. At Daxko, he most recently held the position of Vice President Sales. Prior to that, Nick held a number of senior sales roles at Windstream Communications.

“I am thrilled to be joining EventsAir, which has an impressive 30-year history in the events industry, and to be part of the journey of growing EventsAir to become the world’s leading events management platform,” said Nick.

“I am looking forward to working with such a talented team, and helping event professionals around the world to create unforgettable experiences. I can’t wait to meet EventsAir customers at AirTime 2023 in October, when the team travels to London, Las Vegas and Brisbane for our annual customer conference.”

Nick’s appointment demonstrates EventsAir’s commitment to the global events industry,  according to EventsAir Chief Executive Officer, Chris Ridd.

“We are so pleased to have Nick on-board with us, particularly at a time when we are focused on our global expansion strategy,” said Chris. “This is our first executive hire in the U.S. market, which will be incredibly valuable as we continue to grow our customer base outside APAC.

Nick brings incredible experience and an innovative customer-centric mindset to EventsAir, and we’re looking forward to introducing him to our customers at AirTime 2023 next month.”
